End of Course Test Acceleration - No Registration Necessary

Courses are designed to develop the specific skills students need to meet expectations on the state assessment re-test. Students may take up to two EOC Acceleration courses free of charge while simultaneously earning credit recovery with no more than two absences and a passing grade in the EOC course.   For a student who only needs one EOC Acceleration course, he or she may also enroll in one Credit Recovery/Advancement course.  If the student needs more than one EOC Acceleration course, he or she may not enroll in Credit Recovery/Advancement until June 26, 2023.  All EOC Test Acceleration courses will be taught in person.

Credit Recovery

Courses will be self-paced and taught online through Edgenuity.  Student coursework is supported and facilitated by teachers.  Students may complete the courses independently at home or in person at Bryan High School during summer school hours.  Students may only take one course at a time.

Students may be eligible to take a credit by exam assessment in non-End of Course classes if he or she earned a grade of 60-69 in the course.  If the student does not pass the credit by exam, he or she will enroll in the full credit recovery course.  Credit by Exams must be taken in person at Bryan High School.

  • Registration will open online at https://bisd.link/hssum on May 1, 2023 for Credit Recovery and Credit Advancement courses.

  • Registration will remain open until July 1, 2023, at 8:00 am.

  • Students must register online by May 19, 2023, in order to keep district-issued technology device. 

Courses will be available beginning June 5, 2023, at Bryan High School.

Credit Advancement

Students who wish to get ahead in high school credits may take self-paced courses primarily taught through Edgenuity.  Student coursework is supported and facilitated by teachers.  Students may complete the courses independently or at Bryan High School during summer school hours.  Students may only take one course at a time.
