Administration Biographies

Tommy Roberts, Principal

Mr. Roberts started his teaching career with Bryan ISD in the fall of 2005 at Lamar Alternative High School in Bryan - ironically enough, it is the same building he works in today.  After three years at the alternative campus, he transitioned to be the department chair at Davila Middle School in the fall of 2008 and then to Bryan Collegiate High School in the fall of 2009.  Mr. Roberts has served in various roles over his career as a teacher, department leader, instructional coach, assistant principal, associate principal, and principal.

Mr. Roberts earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Texas A&M University in 2004. He later returned to Texas A&M University where he earned his Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction in 2006. After several years of teaching, he pursued his Administrative Certification from Sam Houston State University, which he obtained in 2009. 

Dana Bechuck, Associate Principal

Mrs. Bechuck began her teaching career in Aldine ISD in the fall of 2005.  She later worked in the Anderson-Shiro school district before coming to Bryan ISD to help open Bryan Collegiate High School in the fall of 2007.  Mrs. Bechuck taught PreAP English I & II for six years before developing the Path College Career (PCC) course sequence and department where she taught both PCC I & III. Mrs. Bechuck has served as the Bryan Collegiate Instructional Coach and was at the forefront of developing numerous campus initiatives such as the school wide literacy initiative, student volunteer requirements, and the implementation of the ICU/CCU program.

Dana Bechuck earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas A&M University in 2004. She earned her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University in 2006. Most recently, Dana completed the Educational Leadership and Principal Preparation Program from Stephen F. Austin State University.
